Cancellation & Money-Back Policy

Updated and Effective as of July 2024

This Cancellation & Money-Back Policy explains how subscriptions purchased through our website can be cancelled and how refund requests are handled. By purchasing a subscription, starting a trial, or using our service, you agree to this Policy, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.

1. How to Cancel Your Subscription

Subscriptions purchased through our website can be cancelled by you at any time on our cancellation page. No account or login is required: enter the email address used at checkout together with the last four digits of the card that was charged, and every matching subscription is cancelled immediately.

If that page cannot find your subscription, contact our support team through our support form or at support@velaroproject.com, including the same two details.

Uninstalling the application, stopping the use of the service, removing the app from your device, or removing your payment method does not cancel an active subscription.

To avoid future charges, you must cancel before your next billing date or before the end of your trial period.

Once a subscription is cancelled, no future renewal payments will be charged.

2. Refund Policy

All subscription payments, trial conversions, renewal payments, and recurring subscription charges are final and non-refundable once the paid subscription period has started.

After a successful payment, users receive immediate access to premium features, services, content, and functionality included in the selected subscription plan. The provision of such access constitutes full delivery of the purchased digital service.

Because premium access is provided immediately after payment, refunds cannot be issued once a paid subscription period has started, even if the service was not used, was only partially used, or the user later decides not to continue using it.

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Trial subscriptions that convert into paid subscriptions;
  • Recurring subscription renewals;
  • Partially used subscription periods;
  • Unused subscription periods;
  • Failure to cancel before the next billing date;
  • Deleting or uninstalling the application after payment;
  • Not using the service after payment;
  • Misunderstanding the trial, renewal amount, or billing frequency after checkout was completed.

3. Trial Subscriptions

Where a trial offer is provided, the trial price, trial duration, renewal amount, billing frequency, and cancellation requirements are displayed during checkout before payment is completed.

By completing checkout, you acknowledge and agree that the trial will automatically convert into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Failure to cancel before the end of the trial period does not qualify for a refund of the subsequent subscription charge.

4. Important Statement

Users are responsible for managing their subscriptions and cancelling — on the cancellation page or through support — before the next renewal date if they do not wish to continue the service.

A subscription remains active until it is cancelled, either by you on the cancellation page or by our support team following a valid cancellation request.

We may review exceptional cases at our sole discretion, but this does not create any automatic right to a refund.

5. App Store and Google Play Purchases

This Policy applies only to subscriptions purchased directly through our website. If you purchased a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, cancellation and refund requests must be managed directly through the respective store according to their policies.

6. Note for EEA, UK and Switzerland Residents

By purchasing a subscription, starting a trial, or accessing premium features, you expressly request and consent to the immediate supply of digital services.

You acknowledge that once premium access has been granted and the service has started, the digital service is considered delivered, and your right of withdrawal may no longer apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If a mandatory legal right applies in your jurisdiction, nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
